Type ad campaign for the portland-based gourmet donut chain and wedding venue

Voodoo Doughnut is a gourmet donut chain based in Portland, Oregon, known for its unique, made-to-order donuts and baked goods. The bakery also serves as a venue for weddings, live music, and other events, making it a premiere downtown destination.
These simple 1/4-page type ads use type, rough textures, and bright colors to emphasize Voodoo Doughnut’s eccentric style. The visuals are also meant to bring voodoo imagery to the forefront of the brand’s messaging, as that was lacking in previous messaging.
